The Targa 32 is the perfect family pocket cruiser with the ability to go anywhere in the northwest with confidence. With a cruise speed of 30 knots at 3000 rpm and a fuel burn of 1.5 npg, it also makes it one of the most economical boats around.
Fishing, crabbing, shrimping, whale watching, or just sightseeing, this is your boat. The perfect getaway that’s easy and can be done any time of year. The Targa is legendary for its incredible ride in all conditions.
Inside the Cabin
Entering through the aft door, you’ll immediately find the aft stateroom and head with shower to port. A few steps down, the lower cabin features a nearly queen-sized berth to port and a single berth to starboard. The single works perfectly for kids or occasional guests, but it also serves well as a “garage” for gear and storage.
The head is well-appointed, with a toilet, countertop and sink, storage beneath, plus a mirrored medicine cabinet. On this 32, rather than the standard handheld shower, we custom-ordered a full shower setup with an adjustable-height shower head, mixing valve, and a track-mounted curtain.
Back on the main level, moving forward, you’ll find a spacious dinette that converts into a berth. At the forward end of the dinette, the backrest flips aft to create a comfortable double navigation seat. To starboard, the helm features a suspension chair and a fully adjustable console that tilts aft for seated use or forward for standing operation.
Forward to port is the galley, equipped with a sink, two-burner stove, and microwave. The forward cabin includes a V-berth with filler cushion. While this cabin is more compact than the optional Comfort Fore Cabin (CFC) layout, the trade-off is a generous forward cockpit. Here you’ll find seating with storage beneath, along with a fold-out cockpit table that stows neatly in the forward seat. It’s an ideal space to relax, enjoy a cocktail, or play a game of cards.
