The 25′ SAFE Boat Defender full cabin can be used for a multitude of duties. This boat was primarily used as a reliable commuter to Seattle and the San Juan Islands. Maintenance and upkeep have always been performed at regular intervals or when needed.
Full repower last year (2025), Work completed by Honda dealer (West Coast Marine), New
Honda BF225s, a new Honda dual control, new shift and throttle cables, and a new key switch
assembly. Also installed a Honda HD-4 multi-function engine display, tied in the NEMA 2000
network.
Other upgrades since purchase:
Previously unpainted bottom prepped and painted at Seaview Boatyard.
Previously, Orange collars were prepped and painted with Alexseal primer and Forest Green topcoat.
All new electronics — Installed NEMA 2000 network, which links two Garmin MFD/GPS
displays (12” and 9”), radar, depth, AIS, and certain engine data.
Installed SeaStar Helm pump and upgraded aft steering rack and new hydraulic lines.
Scotty plug and downrigger mount at the aft starboard side.
Extra set of new three-blade stainless steel props ordered through Safe
Boats.
